AFTER failing to make it for the CONCACAF playoff, the Solomon Islands National Team is on their way back home.
The team left Doha, Qatar yesterday to Brisbane, Australia where they will stay for six days before heading back home.
The team is scheduled to return home on Friday April 15th and will go into quarantine for two weeks.
Meanwhile, three players William Komasi, Ronni Mani and Javin Wae who were tested positive to COVID-19 could not make it with the rest of the team.
The trio had to remain in Doha until they are cleared to travel.
Team mates assured the trio they will be with the team soon and return home safely.
The trio will be well looked after by the host country and FIFA.
The trio was tested positive with Covid-19 prior to the national team’s grand final encounter with New Zealand.
New Zealand won 5-0 and will play Costa Rica in the final match to determine the World Cup team.
