THE current Solomon Islands senior national football team will represent the country in the upcoming Pacific Mini-Games in Vanuatu December this year.
That’s according to president of the Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) William Lai.
“But each player must fight for their place in the team,’’ he said.
“Our coaches will be monitoring each player’s performance during their S-League.
“We will also recruit potential players to join the squad for the Mini-Games.
“So every football players must work hard in order to secure their place in the senior national team.”
He said under his leadership they have set a standard for their senior national team thus every national players must abide by the rules.
“We have rules and guidelines thus players must always adhere to it.
“If players misbehave or break any of our standard rules they can be omitted from the team,’’ he added.
