HUNDREDS of Sunday school youths from the South Sea Evangelical Church (SSEC) in Auki, Malaita Province, have attended a three-day mini-Sunday school rally in Auki last weekend.
The rally which was celebrated under the theme, “Children are God’s Gift and Blessing,” started last Friday evening with a procession that saw the participating Sunday school groups from the SSEC Association Two – Kwaibala Zone – parade from Auki sports field to the SSEC Central Church at Sikitae.
Sunday school groups that participated in the event processioned with banners displaying the name of their communities and the rally theme.
The event which was described by the participating groups as a fruitful one as the young participants were reminded about their existence as a Gift from God as stated in Psalms 127: 3.
