THE South Sea Evangelical Church (SSEC) regional women from Honiara, Central, Western and Choiseul have successfully completed a three days convention over the weekend.
The convention was held at Yandina, Russell in Central province that attracted more than 500 women to attend the convention.
“The women have really enjoyed the programme especially feeling the presences of God upon them during our meetings there,” SSEC national women’s coordinator Leah Keni told the Solomon Star yesterday.
Women from Honiara, central province, Western and Choiseul province were there including some of our guests from Vanuatu, she added.
The theme for the convention this year was liberating women to fulfill God’s purpose in the ministry.
She added they have gone through, praying seasons, praying work around the station and daylight seasons with other women.
Mrs Kini said that the women were really excited with the event.
She said that the next host will be Honiara.
She added that she wants to thank everyone who made it to the convention.
“Its time that we women must rise up in our ministry to manifest God’s purpose within us.”
She said that she wants to see more women attend the next convention in Honiara by 2018.
