ST JOHN Primary School in West Honiara concluded its 2024 academic year with a prize-giving and grade six graduation ceremony yesterday.
Students from grade one to six were awarded prizes and certificates for their academic performance for the year.
In his speech at the ceremony, School Principal Primary Macson Keniano highlighted the achievements of the school.
“As we celebrate our achievements and memories, I am reminded of the importance of courage, resilience and determination.
“As Mr Brene Brown so eloquently put it ‘Courage is contagious’. Every time we choose courage, we make everyone around us a little better and the world a little braver,'” said Principal Keniano said.
Principal Keniano encouraged the grade six students to never stop learning.
“I offer these words of wisdom: never stop learning, never stop growing and never stop making a positive impact on the world. You are the leaders of tomorrow and I have no doubt that you will make a difference,” he added.
The prize-giving and grade six graduation ceremony concluded with refreshment.
