GUADALCANAL Plantation Palm Oil Limited 3 (GPPOL 3) workers who had gone on strike for the removal of the company’s Field Plantation Manager, Syfig Rusepini, resumed work on Thursday.
This came about after the GPPOL Management ironed out issues that led to the strike on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
In an interview with Solomon Star yesterday, the Management said all striking workers have resumed work.
“The matter has been settled between Management and workers.
“We have processes and procedures in place to deal with workers grievances and their matters are being addressed accordingly and workers have resumed work as of yesterday (Thursday),” the management said.
More than 400 workers have gone on strike on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday demanding either the sacking or stepping down of Mr Rusepini.
