THE proposed date for meeting between the Director of the National Training Unit (NTU) and the government sponsored students this week has been rescheduled further from Wednesday to Thursday.
This is according to the Solomon Islands Student Association (SISA) Laucala, Campus student body.
In a statement that was passed on to the Solomon Star yesterday, the date was being rescheduled to Thursday 14th January 2016, 10: 00am at the Maranatha Hall.
And not Wednesday 13th January 2016 as previously announced by the SISA president last week.
The meeting, which is more like an orientation, will allow the Director to brief the sponsored students on what they will expect this year and also what the office is expecting from the students.
Other students have also said that, it is an opportunity for them to raise to the NTU director the issue of students assessment/termination and other issues that needs to be addressed by the scholarship office this year.
Meanwhile, last week Mr Tito has been hailed by the SISA boss for responding promptly to issues that are affecting students studying there over the past years.
Solomon Islands Students Association (SISA) president Richard Housiho told the Solomon Star that he is thankful that the Director Clement Tito has shown positive feedbacks towards some of the issues that his executive has raised to NTU through the Suva based Education Attaché.
