THE body of late Henry Galo has arrived back in the country from Philippines and was flown over to his home province of Malaita on Sunday.
Late Galo was a student doing his study in Philippines but suddenly die last week.
“The deceased went to his room and never woke up another day, student’s president,” Charles Ha’amori who also accompanied the casket body told the relatives upon the arrival yesterday.
He added it was a sad news for the local students studying at the university and in Philippines.
The student president told relatives at the airport the deceased died of high blood pressure.
“I went to the hospital following the post-mortem and it was revealed he suffered from high blood pressure.”
Mr Ha’amori explained late Galo was under liquor plus the increase blood pressure from his brain had resulted in his death.
“Anything apart from this is not true because I went and see his post-mortem,” he clarified.
Mr Ha’amori said, it was sad news for all the local students studying in Philippines”.
“We lost one brother and a fellow Solomon Islander.”
Late Galo was in his fourth year of study.
As privately funded student he spent his time in Philippines and never returned to the country during holidays.
His body was flown to Auki on Sunday afternoon where he will be laid to rest near his home village near Auki.
