MORE than 50 students from Charles Elliot Fox (CE Fox) School in Small Malaita are currently here in Honiara on a mission to raise funds for their girls’ hostel.
They arrived in the city accompanied by their school principal Henry Rahemola and other school officials, on Tuesday.
Speaking to the Solomon Star yesterday at their camp, Mr Rahemola said they are here on a two weeks trip to raise funds for the girls’ hostel project.
With their full traditional costumes, the boys and girls from South Malaita are all set to rock Honiara when their touring program starts this Sunday.
According to their scheduled program, as of next week they will be visiting various Anglican Church of Melanesia (ACoM) Churches and communities to perform.
They will be performing at places like Lunga, Tuvaruhu, Vura, All Saints, St Barnabas Cathedral, SMI Compound, St Stephen White River, St Alban Bishops Dale, and at the Hapai area.
They will also perform on special requests made from communities of Burns Creek and Feraladoa and other communities in Honiara.
“The window for assistance is open for anybody that wished to do donations to support our fundraiser.
“Everybody is welcomed to help the school to support our dormitory project.
“Your assistance will be much appreciated,” School Principal Rahemola said.
Meanwhile, should anyone wants to assist the school through donations during the course of the two weeks, Mr Rahemola can be reached on mobile 7689473 or the Deputy Principal Willie Maesua on 7890567.
