HUNDREDS of Solomon Islands National University (SINU) students and members of the public took time off on Thursday to learn more about the services offered by Our Telekom.
Thursday marked day three of the Honiara road show sales promotion being conducted at the SINU Kukum campus.
The road show involved the sales of mobile phones at discounted prices, band entertainment, questions and answer sessions with free give away and awareness about the services provided by the company.
Our Telekom Public Relation Officer Lawrence Nodua said, a lot of SINU students at Kukum Campus turned up to be part of the program to take advantage of the promotion as well as ask questions about the services provided by the company.
Mr Nodua said, from the questions asked it seems a lot of people are yet to understand the services provided by the company.
He said many students have enjoyed the day by listening to the band entertainment and the awareness programs.
“The students were very happy about the awareness and pleased with our service offered in the country.
“They even urged us to continue with our good work and extend such promotional programs to other parts of the country,” Mr Nodua said.
The road show will continue today with similar activities.
