A student of Goldie College says Miss Solomons Tema Wickham is a role model for students, and in particular for girls, at the school.
Christopher Lekelalu, a form four student, made the remarks when he delivered his speech during the reopening of the school’s upgraded kitchen recently.
He said the new upgraded facility was a great achievement for the school in terms of development.
He thanked Miss Wickham on behalf of the students for her generous support towards Goldie College.
“Let us continue to help rebuild Goldie College to a better place for learning,” he emphasised.
Miss Wickham urged the school to look after the kitchen and water tanks.
“Look after them and take ownership of the facilities. Think of those who will come later in the years to make use of the facility and enjoy them too,” she reminded the school.
“I feel so satisfied and happy that we have made a difference in the lives of the students, the teachers, and their families at Goldie College.”
