Students are being urged to show respect and good sportsmanship during competition matches both in and off the court.
This was according to the organizers of the High School League Basketball league competition.
The call was made following unwanted behaviour displayed by some students during the High School Basketball matches at the Multipurpose Hall over the weekend.
“Organizers warn all schools to abide to the ground rules of the competition.
“The organizers of High school basketball challenge will not allow this kind of unwanted attitude and behavior to happen again.
“Showing of good spirit of sportsmanship must be displayed among all schools teams on the court and off the court within the games vicinity.
“We appeal to all sports masters for all respective schools that they must accompany their school’s team during their games in order to maintain good spirit of sportsmanship among players from both teams,” organizers said.
