THE Premier for Malaita Province Daniel Suidani has cleared allegations leveled against him based on rumors that has been misleading the general public, and the people of Malaita Province.
After being released from quarantine centre on Friday, he was invited to join a meeting at Gilbert Camp in East Honiara on Saturday that was organized by Malaitans.
Speaking during the gathering Premier Suidani said rumors in which people heard about him allegedly misusing the provincial funds, and other information are totally not true.
“Stop listening to rumors that will lead us to nowhere, but only bring disharmony among our good law abiding citizens,” he said.
Premier Suidani expressed Malaitans need to work together, and worked closely with the national government.
“There is no need to form up groups to create disunity among us,” he uttered.
Mr Suidani explained there are major development projects the provincial government of Malaita and its people need to focus on.
“And working in collaboration with the international traditional partners and the national government to bring these major projects to its fruition is important.
“Exciting news for Malaitans is that the pineapple factory is about to be established and now the engineers are on the site ready to roll out the project,” he said.
He said the only thing Malaitans need to do right now is to be careful with such misinformation that will bring disharmony whilst looking ahead, and working together to fulfill our major plans.
