THE passing of the 2022 budget by the Malaita Provincial Assembly is a true testimony of the concerns that all Members of the Provincial Assembly (MPAs) have for our people, says Premier Daniel Suidani.
Premier Suidani thanked all MPAs of both the MARA executive and non-executive for their commitment especially after the political tension between them last year.
This was for the show of togetherness which resulted in the successful passing of the 2022 budget without any difficulties.
“I must thank all of you for your understanding, especially at this time of covid-19 we decided to work together in passing the budget.”
“This itself is a big achievement that all of us should be proud of.”
“Similarly, I am also grateful for the understanding shown by my ministers, in having to forgo some or not all of their division’s activities and to allocate funds for the emergency work in relation to covid-19.”
