An emerging political party UMI FOR CHANGE (U4C) led by Premier Daniel Suidani is gaining momentum.
Premier Suidani in his recent provincial tour indicates his government will register the party to contest in the 2024 national election to advance the ideologies of the MARA government.
In a bid to attract supporters he made an open call to those interested to attend a meeting schedule for 17 October, 2022 in Auki.
He said the meeting is to form an interim committee responsible for setting up and formulating the political party.
The new party is expected to be registered soon ahead of the national general election 2024.
Political Advisor Celsus Talifilu said Premier Suidani is getting ahead with the setting up of the new political party.
He said those who believe in the party are welcome to attend the meeting.
“This will be an important gathering where the interim committee will be appointed and oversee the setting up of the party.
“U4C party is set to form as a political vehicle to advance policy issues the MARA government has been advocating for.
“The premier believes that this is the right and appropriate way to further the interests of his people,” he said.
