JED Enterprise Ltd is doing a great job in Auki town upgrading feeder roads that have been ignored for so long, says Premier Daniel Suidani.
Speaking to Solomon Star Auki on Tuesday, Premier Suidani thanked the national government through the Ministry of Infrastructure Development (MID) for awarding the contract to JED.
The Premier said JED Enterprise Ltd has the capability and required machines for quality work, therefore MID should allocate more contracts in Malaita for JED.
“Some companies which were awarded contracts in Malaita do not have the capabilities to maintain roads in Malaita given the fact that they do not have required machines for a better road upgrade work,” Suidani stated.
The Premier thanked the national government through MID for paying JED on time to ensure road maintenance in Auki continues.
He said now road users in Auki are happy because JED has covered all feeder roads allowing vehicles to move from one place to another without much delay as seen before JED’s arrival in Auki.
With that, the Premier said with the fleet that JED enterprise Ltd has, it is important to engage JED in future road upgrade work in Malaita Province.
