The Super Six basketball competition has successfully kicked off over the weekend.
Four matches have been played to mark the start of the competition.
It comprises of two matches from High School and the other two from the men’s open category.
Reigning champions of the 2014 High School Basketball league Betikama and King George boys made a good start to their campaign with first wins.
Betikama defeated Selwyn 45-23 and KG VI defeated St Nicholas 28-21 in a close encounter.
Another close game saw Kuks Town edges SOSA Shields 33-32 in the men’s open category.
The second men’s open category match between Ballers United and Crusaders was won by Crusaders 81-53 who has proven to be a strong contender in this competition
Matches will continue this weekend and fixtures will be revealed during the week.
