Tulagi police have arrested a 40-year-old male person for a stabbing incident recently in Tulagi, Central Island Province.
Supervising Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Senior Sergeant (SSgt) Linda Iro said, the incident occurred between two brothers.
It was revealed the motive behind the stabbing incident was that, the elder brother told his younger brother to carry his six-year-old son home, who slept on a table at the pub, and later he can join them.
PPC Iro said, the suspect got angry with what the victim said, grabbed his younger brother, and stabbed him with a screwdriver.
The suspect was later arrested and dealt with. Tulagi police process the suspect’s court documents for his appearance next year, 2025.
