SINCE Solomon Islands gain its independence on 7th July 1978 few developments are taking place that many are unaware of, these are the efforts made by very small collection of few expatriates with the collection of Solomon Islanders who have decided that they will betray this Nation for fees.
Together they form organization to feed you with information that is false, defamatory that attract those who are critical about the government and its efforts.
I want to tell the people who are doing this, no matter what they do, how hard they try, all the bags of money they have can buy, influence , information , propaganda, they will not succeed .
There armies of patriarchs (fathers) who were raising up to take back this nation. This nation that we have leaved on, for as long as the earth exist for 50 thousand years. We have farm, manage and survived to be where we are now. Solomon Islands is seized under a major group of evil people that have come here to steal our resources to take what is rightfully ours, that of our children.
Today we are at war, do not be fool, today we are fighting the most difficult of challenges ever faced in history of this nation.
Each and every one of you must rise up to fight for better tomorrow for your children.
Our today is not ours; unfortunately it has been purchased, packaged and sold for money just for few people to getting exceptionally reached. The fact of the matter is, the economy is doing well for them and their friends not for you and me.
It is our responsibility to fight to take back this nation from the thieves, those who imagine we are irrelevant, take back this nation from people who have marginalized our people and pushed them to stand outside of the spheres of development.
So that they are unable to develop their own resources, so that they are unable to own the economy, to determine their own future, that is what will likely to happen.
Today each and every one of us must take stock of where we are as a nation. On 7th July 1978, we were given some sort of independence but the journey is still a long way of, we are not yet obtain true economic independence.
True economic independence is owning the right to your land to develop your resources, on the land, in the sea so that they belongs to Solomon Islanders, so that they belong to our future generations.
We cannot sit back and watch these happen. We cannot imagine that they can walked in and take what they want.
We have no right to think in that line, we must work together, must recognized the evil that is taken place right now.
Whereby a government completely ignores the interest of its people, I stated this out because whenever you hear about how great this economy, you know well the fact that we are not doing so well.
Look at the essential services not reaching our people, that fact that Solomon Islanders is not owning this nation.
The fact of the matter now is, that is a temporary situation, millionaires can come with bags of money but they cannot take away this land. Not from you, me, our children, that is our right, our birthright.
Unfortunately many of us, especially those who are not able to access information, those who are deliberately kept ignorant.
Those people must come to understand what is happening and it is incumbent upon the educated Solomon Islanders, those who know what is happening to educate our people.
Get out there talk to them, use social media, communicate together, talk about what is happening; for instance, is this government really cares about you?
They would make significant effort bring back what was stolen from our people and bring them to justice.
As it is right now you and I are unable to do much, why because we are all walking in isolation, propaganda that continues to mislead our people. We must deal with the small number of betrayers.
Let us not in any way mislead and think that everything is great, well. Our nation is being carefully package to be sold to a few wealthy people who have already make moves to take ownership of the resources we own.
We have seen and identify these perpetrators and in due time we will expose them.
We are now in a position to question the government, and the fact of the matter is; this is not the government of the people, for the people and by the people.
We must at all times remain vigilant; we must at all-time make consolidate efforts, not just to post on social media but to be able to communicate to one another to rise up to see what is going wrong and do something about it.
Solomon Islands is one of the best countries in the world. It is abundant with resources, the land is rich and there is plenty for everybody if we work together in a consolidate manner.
If we work to ensure everyone have right to peace and security, right to piece of land and a right to have a home and live in dignity without being oppressed, marginalized, with having the opportunities taken away from them.
I want to thank those genuine politicians and leaders who lead this nation in moving forward. If you fight to do something that is reasonable for this nation, which is an honorable thing, do not let anyone criticize and marginalized you that is democracy.
It is your right and you are the one to decide on what to do on this land for future. Today you can look around you and ask yourself, do we really own this country? We have achieved less, we are at war to save Solomon Islands.
We cannot allow the propaganda to mislead and convince us. If everything is well, how comes we do not have equal access to information that is fair, great and genuine.
How come the government has to borrow so much money?
If everything is okay, how come you and I have no savings, no hope for the future.
We are all equal shareholders of Solomon Islands to develop this nation not the way foreigners , organization want, but the way we want.
Yes 2018 national general election is just around the corner and we want genuine politician and leaders that will save the interest of this nation and its lovely citizens for the future of our children. We deserve to own this country, all the resources and all that God has blessed us with.
Let us communicate, rise up, work together, and say no to corruption in this nation. May God bless Solomon Islands.
