OUSTED Renbel premier Lence Tango has rejected reports claiming his current trip to the province is being backed by national leaders.
He said he never mentioned in his meetings with the people of Renbel that his current trip to the province is being backed by the prime minister, his deputy, provincial government minister, and the Attorney General.
“What I am telling the people during our meetings is that I am still the premier of Renbel and that only cabinet can decide on my removal,” he said.
A resident from provincial capital Tingoa told the Solomon Star Mr Tango was boasting about his trip being backed by national leaders during the public meetings he conducted.
