The Solomon Islands Basketball Federation (SIBF) has once again called on all intending basketball clubs for the upcoming HBL competition to register their teams as soon as possible as time for kick off looms.
The 2014 HBL competition has been confirmed to start this weekend at the Multipurpose Hall.
Enquiries and information about the registration of teams can be directed to the National Basketball Development Officer (NBDO) Moses kivo or the HBL president, Golden Kiloko.
Registration fees are as follows, $300 each for the men’s and women’s division A teams, $200 each for the men’s and women’s division B teams, $150 for each High School team and $100 for each Primary School team.
The league is scheduled to take a month.
Two other codes will also take place during the league season and that is the mixed competition and the 3 on 3 code.
The mixed competition will comprise of teams including three male and two female players.
For the 3 on 3 code, any team that wins the 3 on 3 code competitions three times in a row will represent the Solomon Islands in a competition abroad next year.
