The President of the Honiara Amateur Boxing Association (HABA) John Firifote is calling on all technical officials who usually officiated in their fortnightly bouts to attend a meeting at the Ministry of Home Affairs during lunch hour today.
Firifote urged the technical officials to be at the Ministry of Home Affairs Conference Room by 11:30 am.
“The meeting is purposely to discuss proposed refresher course that technical officials need to be aware of,’’ he said.
“We will also deliberate on the instructor that we will engage for our refresher course,’’ Firifote said.
“I will call the technical officials as soon as possible but whoever receives this message please pass it on to other officials.”
He also called on the SIABA President Patrick Moris and others to attend the meeting set for today.
