TEINIU South Seas Evangelical Church (SSEC) Community in Ward 29 in Central Kwara’ae Constituency, Malaita Province, has celebrated the Christmas and New Year’s festive season with the dedication of a newly completed community Guest House project.
The new guest house was consecrated by Reverend Eric Takila together with members of South Sea Evangelical Church pastors on Wednesday last week.
Witnessing the consecration ceremony was the Malaita Province Assembly Member for Ward 29, Felix Bosokuru, SSEC members and people from Teiniu and surrounding communities.
The new guest house has been described as community achievement that will help address the issue of accommodation during church and community events.
According to a statement from Teiniu community, the accomplishment of the community guest house project signified the hard work and commitment rendered by each individual in the community and friends towards the project.
The community expressed acknowledgement to its ‘supporting partners, individuals and members of the community’ for their support and determination to see the successful completion of the project.
“This is another successful milestone for Teiniu SSEC community to have a permanent building purposely to host guests and visitors during church programmes.
“We wish to acknowledge community members, individuals and supporting friends for the support rendered towards the completion of our new community rest house project,” the statement added.
