Temotu Provincial Assembly (TPA) will convene its last meeting to dissolve the house ahead of provincial elections.
Temotu premier Brown Beu had expressed, top of the agenda is to pass the provincial supplementary budget.
The Solomon Star had cited the Temotu supplementary budget 2014/2015 which is $1,020,000.00.
The recurrent expenditure are office of the premier, $140,000.00, provincial assembly $49,700.00, administration $50,000.00, finance $500,900.00.
Furthermore, works, transport and communication $115,000.00, Lands $88,200.00, women’s Development $13,500.00, Tourism $30,700.00, local council $32,000.00.
The supplementary appropriation from the provincial fund was authorized for sum of one million, and twenty thousand dollars expenditure to be applied for the purposes specified in section 32(2) of the provincial Government Act 1997 for the services of the financial year ending 31st March 2015.
Beu told this paper that Temotu Provincial Assembly already scrutinizes the budget last Saturday.
Beu confirmed provincial assembly will dissolve on December 5, preparation for provincial election December.
