TEMOTU Province is not only preparing to host the Our Telekom National U20 Netball Championship set to be staged in their shores but are also preparing to give their opponents a touch fight for the top award of the competition.
“Apart from our preparation to host the championship, our U20 netball squad are also full swing with their trainings for the championship,’’ Temotu Sports Development Officer (SDO) Willie Moli told Star Sports from Lata yesterday.
He said their squad was selected from a recent competition staged in the province.
“Our squad was selected from a competition organised here and they already kicked off their training sessions,’’ he said.
“But since the championship’s date was announced our girls stepped up their preparations,’’ he said.
Meanwhile other competing teams are also anticipated to be full swing with their training sessions in preparation for the championship.
