Honiara City Council (HTC) is yet to confirm the proper venue for the Solomon Islands National Tennis Federation.
Chairman for youths, women and sports of the HTC standing committee, Eddie Ngava said the tennis venue would be confirm after their board meeting on January 30.
“We will confirm what will do with the Tennis venue and other sports facilities around the town after the board meeting,” Mr Ngava said.
He said after the meeting the council will have to deal with all the sports facilities around Honiara city which needs improvement.
He said sport facilities is one of the issue that the City Council will focuses on for this year.
“Sports is one of the events that can bring youths together and providing proper facilities for them can create better sporting environment for them,” Mr Ngava said.
