If you are from Thailand or love to eat Thailand cuisine then there is a place in the heart of Honiara city which can offer your favourite Thai dish.
And that’s at the King Solomon Hotel. The hotel through two of its restaurants offered a special menu called ‘Flaming Wok Thai’which would make you to come back for more.
This was made possible following the arrival of two well-experienced chefs from Thailand into the country late last month.
The name ‘Flaming Wok Thai’ was taken from Thailand food being cooked using flame.
The two restaurants operated by King Solomon Kaikai Haus and Bamboo Café are offering the dishes at reasonable cost daily.
Kaikai haus opens Monday to Sunday from 6pm to 10pm plus a roasted dinner night.While Bamboo Café normally opens from Monday to Friday daily.
Since their arrival the two chefs have been busy cooking Thailand dishes with attracted a lot of Thailand people.
“This is our new service that we offer here for Thailand people which no one here in Solomon Islands had done this kind of recipe and services.
“This is a service that we would like to offer to our Thailand people living in Honiara,” King Solomon Hotel managing director Shane Kennedy said.
Mr Kennedy said the cost of the Thailand food is reasonable for Thailand which hotels offer its customers.
Since the start of the service, more Thailand people have visited the restaurants to enjoy the dishes.
Mr Kennedy said both chefs are experience having worked and cooked in a number of restaurants back in their countries.
Dishes and food produced at this restaurant ranges from appetizers, salads /soups, rice noodles, curry dishes, Western cuisines and desserts.
“These our varieties of foods that we offer here.”
The hotel not only offers Thai food but also entertainments to ensure the patrons get to enjoy their evening Thai meal with some form of entertainment, Mr Kennedy said.
