Dear Editor – Yesterday has gone forever…What had you done? Did you make full use of time? No any regrets left behind for sure?
People always say, it seems as if a lot of things which should have been done yesterday or the day before yesterday…never mind, just leave it for tomorrow…No matter how many tomorrows have become yesterdays, we are still waiting for another imaginary tomorrow.
However, there is no such an efficient tomorrow until we realize the value of time!
We always talk about time, but it looks like we just stay in the “talking” period. Easier said than done, after all. It’s the high time that we need to make a change truly! Don’t hesitate anymore. What a shame if we just wait in vain, and put off plenty of things until the time that you think you are ready. Believe it or not, if you keep doing like this, you will miss a great many chances which is likely to mean a lot to you. So try to make a change, not tomorrow but right now!
How to make a change? First of all, make a plan. Just start from a “one day plan”.
Then make a list, the most urgent thing should be put in the front. Don’t make a full-day plan, otherwise you would feel tired to be in a rush in a whole day.
It is better to leave some flexible time to take a break. If only a few things are put in your list, at the beginning, it could be a good chance for you to enjoy the sense of achievement!
But in a long run, you need to figure out other activities to make full use of time. Reading an hour a day is a wise choice, the most modest teacher will help you with your mind unconsciously. Exercise would be another good idea. As the saying goes, life lies in motion. Exercise makes your body strong and powerful.
Why not just give it a shot? After making a list, the most important thing is to do! How to do? Warren Buffett, the world’s greatest value investor, claimed that, “You could have a 300 horsepower motor and get 300 horsepower out of it or you can get a lot less.
The people, who I see, function well are not the one with the biggest motors, but the ones with the most efficient ones.” It elaborates the value of efficiency. So when you carry out your plan, make sure to be efficient! It is a significant habit, try to put it into practice.
Time always goes forward, and never waits for anyone. Many people regard time as money, but for me, time is life.
Life has a span, only thirty thousands days at most. So stop wasting any time, trying to make each day valuable and colorful, let every day really count!
