Telekom S-league defending champion, Solomon Warriors FC continued their impressive run, winning their third match in a row against rivals Koloale FC 3-1 last Saturday.
Jerry Donga scored a double, and with the third from team mate Micah Lea’alafa, they ensured Warriors recorded nine points to maintain their lead in the TSL table tally.
Koloale were all set for the clash, equipped with Samson Takayama and Welshman Houkarawa manning their defense, however they could not maintain a strong stand for the whole 90 minutes as the Warriors strikers bombarded their goal mouth with a series of strikes.
Substitute Michael Taeman gave Koloale the chance of coming out victorious after he leveled the score 1-1.
But Warriors were quick to regain lead with Donga’s second goal and Micah ended Koloale’s hopes with another superb goal to make it 3-1 before full time.
Meanwhile, KOSSA FC registered their first three clear points of the competition following their 3-1 win against X-Beam FC in yesterday’s second match.
Matches will continue today with Marist taking on Real Kakamora FC at 2pm followed by Western United up against Hana FC at 4pm to wrap up the weekend’s action.
