THREE more MP’s have joined the Democratic Coalition for Change (DCC) as of last night.
The MP’s include; Nestor Ghiro (Central Makira), Alfred Ghiro (East Makira) and Derrick Manu’ari (West Makira).
According to insiders from the DCC camp, the three now join Silas Tausinga as defected MP’s from the Solomon Islands People’s Democratic Coalition (SIPDC).
“All of them have the common understanding and goals with the rest of the DCC members, we all want a change of governance, leadership for the betterment of the future of Solomon Islands and its people,” he said.
If the latest move is true, then it would bring the total number of MP’s teaming up with the DCC to 31.
“We are expecting more MP’s to switch sides during the vote of the Prime Minister tomorrow (today),” he said.
Meanwhile the DCC has sent some of their members to Gela yesterday to camp out from the influences of dirty politics as they claim, a strategy that would be used by the SIPDC.
Meanwhile when asked, the SIPDC denied the reports stating that its coalition is intact prior to the Prime Minister’s election today.
“No one of us have moved as claimed by the DCC.
“We are all here and are prepared to vote our candidate for the Prime Ministership,” an insider from the SIPDC camp said.
