Central Island Provincial government is currently working closely with three investors to invest in tourism in the province.
Three investors are Tulagi Investment Limited from Australia, Raiders an investor who is currently operating a motel in Tulagi Inn and Patrick Leong who will develop the double Island outside of Tulagi .
The province is now working closely with the investors to ensure these developments are up and running.
Central Island Premier Stanley Manetiva yesterday said, his government is prioritizing tourism as the number one development for the province.
“So far three investors have shown interest to operate here,” he said.
He said his government wants to see that things are happening.
“Most times we talk about tourism yet nothing tangible has happened. Therefore this province is serious about getting more investors here.”
He also urged the landowners to support the province by opening up their land.
