TIROTONA Ward in Isabel Province has topped the Taekwondo competition in the Isabel Games which was successfully hosted last month at Tataba, Isabel Province.
Tirotona secured 11 medals in the completion; four gold medals, six silver medals, and one bronze medal to top the Taekwondo medal tally.
Those 11 medals were collected by both male and female fighters representing Tirotona Ward.
Second in the medal tally is Kmaga Ward which collected three gold medals in total, and third on the medal tally is Buala Ward which settled for one gold and one silver.
Fourth on the medal tally is Kaloka Ward which collected one gold and a bronze medal, and fifth on the medal tally is host Tataba Ward which settled for a single gold collected by female fighter Lelan Ramoga in the Female 43 KG category.
Sixth in the medal tally is Kolotubi Ward which collected three medals in total; two silvers and one bronze, and finally, the seventh place on the medal tally is Hovukoilo Ward which only manages two medals; one silver and one bronze in the competition.
The competition was organized by the World Taekwondo Solomon Islands (WTSI) with invitation from the WTSI Member Association (MA) Isabel Province Taekwondo President Watson Hevalao.
