SOLOMON Warriors FC coach, Moses Toata has made a tough call to all players who want to be in the final Warriors line-up for the upcoming Telekom S-league (TSL) season to show commitment towards training.
Toata made a call clarifying the commitment towards training plays a vital role in the final selection.
“The team is currently in training for the Telekom Soccer League.
“All players are asked to attend all training sessions in order to be selected in the final squad.
“Old players who are playing for other clubs in the HFA League, your place in the team is being currently reviewed and depending on your commitment level, your spot in the team is not guaranteed.
“If you are still interested in playing for the club, please attend at least two training sessions per week.”
Already in training are 22 home based players, 16 old players and six new faces.
Three Warriors players currently playing abroad are Ian Paia, Gibson Daudau and Gagame Feni.
The Warriors Football Club Management also reminds all players that they will be taking into account players who smoke and chew betel nut.
A code of conduct for all players will be made available before the start of the season and players will be asked to sign it along with their club and player agreements.
