Statesman Sir Paul Tovua will be leading a team of election observers to Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean next week.
Tovua is part of a Commonwealth observer team picked across the Commonwealth to monitor the elections.
He will be leading a team from the common wealth countries to that Caribbean Islands nation which was due to hold its National election next month.
“Just last week I received an invitation to lead an election observer team to Trinidad and Tobago for their election next week,” he told the Sunday Star.
This is not his first time to travel overseas on election observer duties.
“I’ve observed elections in South Africa twice, Pakistan, Papua new Guinea, now Trinidad and Tobago.”
