The trade expo Solomon Islands 2014 will be kicking off in a fortnight at the Bodo Detke show ground along the Mataniko river.
The program will run from 6 to 11 July.
This will bring the public and business sectors throughout the country to promote some of their products.
Chairman of the trade expo Redley Raramo said the trade expo is aimed at the exposing business sector in the country to manifest their products through promotion and awareness.
He said the objective of the trade expo Solomon Islands 2014 is to promote innovation and development of locally produce products of Solomon Island.
“It helps to promote partnership between stakeholders by establishing commercial contact between the private and the general public.
“It also aims to strengthen contact between business and consumers,” Mr Raramo said.
He said this easily helps business as part of promoting their products in both domestic and international markets.
“Business was able to create awareness of their products or services so to broaden their consumer bases,” the chairman said.
Meanwhile he calls on the all supportive bodies and other services provider and NGO to register their participation with the trade expo at the ministry of commerce.
He said currently spaces are available for interested businesses.
