ABOUT 30 middle level managers, team leaders and potential managers from the region completed a two-week training organised by the Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority and the Papua New Guinea Inland Revenue Commission on Friday.
The third Pacific Managers Development Program (PMDP) training is a specialised course on project management.
“The program is aimed at training middle level managers, team leaders and people that have potential to become managers,” Samuel Loi of the PNG Inland Revenue Commission said.
While the training has been completed, participants will now have to implement a six-week project with the results communicated to the PMDP facilitators in PNG.
“Before they come for training they have to do a project proposal,” he said.
Participants were from Tonga, Marshall Islands, PNG, Solomon Islands, Kiribati, Vanuatu and Fiji.
