A ROAD Engineer from Nepal Guna Rey Niraula conducts a one-week labour based road maintenance training for road contractors in Malaita this week in Buma, West kwara’ae.
The training is vital as it gives road contractors proper knowledge which can boost their skills in road construction.
Mr Guna said the training is useful for contractors and will be useful for Malaita.
“There are a number of contractors around Malaita who are attending the trainings and they are being divided up into groups for the trainings.
He said other province had already had their share of the training.
The training is made possible with the support of AusAid and ADB through the Solomon Islands Government.
