FOLLOWING his landslide victory during last week’s election returning Member of Parliament (MP) for West Honiara hosted a reception to celebrate his victory while thanking his more than 5600 voters.
The victory reception was held at his compound in Rove, West Honiara at 1pm.
During the packed reception Mr Tran delivered a brief speech to express his sincere gratitude for the trust and confidence the voters and supporters have in him.
He said their (voters) strong support had resulted in the resounding victory.
During the afternoon reception most of the supporters and voters enjoyed some food, snacks and drinks.
He told the packed compound that without all the support, victory would not be possible.
“I want to thank you all my voters for your great support towards my election campaign which had resulted in the victory,” he said.
He assured all the voters and supporters that once his team settles down in office application for projects and other assistance would open.
In last week election Mr Trans polls 5,683, James Apaniai James 857, Selwyn Akao 680, John Kwaita 661, Ellen Inahia 621 and Forau Peter 64.
