A TENTATIVE date to hear evidences on the case of two people accused of involving in stealing more than $130,000 from the ANZ bank in 2013, has been fixed, Tuesday.
Principal Magistrate Ricky Iomea set down October 30 to November 3 for the trial on the case of Lonsdale Ale and Elma Toluko.
These two accused are facing one count each of simple larceny.
They were charged after a bank officer allegedly deposited money into their bank accounts in 2013.
The bank officer was already sentenced last year for stealing more than $130,000 and transferred those monies to accounts of Elmas and Lonsdale at Westpac Bank.
The bank officer later withdrew most of the money.
Mr Iomea also issued a warrant of arrest for Ale who failed to turn up in court yesterday.
He warned if Ale failed to appear in court on September 5, the warrant will be activated or issued for his arrest.
