Football fans and supporters will have to wait for one more week before witnessing the first actions of the 2015/16 Telekom S-League season.
The new kick off date for the competition has been delayed for one more week and is now rescheduled for Saturday August 22nd.
According to a statement from the Telekom S-league Board the purpose of this postponement is to give time for the S-League Board and the Secretariat to resolve administrative issues in conjunction with the registration of clubs and players for the competition.
This was revealed by the Telekom S-League Board yesterday.
The competition will continue until December and break for the Christmas period before resuming in January.
The League is anticipated to conclude in February, 2016, and the championship will follow in March.
The S-League continuously endeavours to improve the competition and in the interest of avoiding some difficulties experienced in past seasons this additional week of preparation will be utilised to ensure that all clubs have fulfilled all registration requirements.
