THE Telekom S-league (TSL) is set to resume matches after postponing its previous five matches due to the wet weather experienced over the country last week.
Today’s matches will see Laugu FC take on Southern United FC at 2 pm followed by FC Isabel United and Honiara City FC at 4 pm.
Tomorrow’s matches will feature Real Kakamora FC and Marist FC at 2 pm and defending champions Solomon Warriors FC will take on current leaders, Henderson Eels FC at 4 pm.
It is anticipated that the Eels and Warriors match could be the most crucial match of the title race as both teams have all to play for in the top of the table clash.
Eels edged Warriors 2-1 in round one when both teams last met aided by a converted spot-kick by wonder boy Raphael Lea’i as the match-winner.
This time around the encounter is more exciting as the Warriors have strengthened their ranks with the likes of Micah Lea’alafa and Gagame Feni upfront and Matson Feni in the defense.
Eels will be boosted with the return of Joses Nawo who missed the game against Honiara City due to suspension.
His return will give him and Raphael Lea’i the chance to extend their golden boot tally.
Both players are currently leading the race with 20 goals each.
