The 4th Tu Ata games set to kick off this weekend has been delayed for about a week.
Major Sponsor of the competition Robert Sisilo confirmed this to Star Sports on Thursday.
“Please be informed that the 4th Tu Ata Games will kick off next week on Thursday 7th of July 2016,’’ Sisilo said.
“I am on a daily contact with Marau Shipping Company owner of MV Airi, to ensure our folks on the island are in time for the Games,’’ he said.
Sisilo said they have invested a lot in the Games so he would like to give them a little bit more time.
He said he will keep inform those who already prepared for the Games.
“I regret for any convenience this may cause,’’ he added.
