Adventist youths at Tulagi, Central province have taken God’s word to the streets and houses of Tulagi residents over the weekend.In marking the global youth week of prayer, the youths have been told to go out and share Gods word to people than attending Sabbath service.
Tulagi Adventist Church pastor Selwyn Kouto said youths are future leaders and it is important to engage them in sharing God’s word in people’s homes than to just attend Sabbath services.
The youths marched the streets of Tulagi town and residential homes sharing God’s word on the theme-“It’s all about the Kingdom present and future”.
The youths testified they have enjoyed the program even more although it is a challenge.
Deputy Premier of Central Province was said to welcome the youths when they visited his home.
He encouraged the youths to keep on with the great work and challenge them to be role models to other youths in CIP.
In Honiara similar activities were also held.
