TWO candidates have been confirmed to contest Lake Tegano ward two bye-election on Rennell Island, Renbel Province on July 2.
This was revealed by Premier for Renbel Province, Collin Suatai Singamoa to Solomon Star yesterday.
Speaking from Tingoa station yesterday he said, since the closing date last week two person have been confirm to contest the bye-election.
They are former Premier Lence Tangosia and Joses Sauheha Tahua.
“These candidates are being confirmed to contest the Lake Tegano ward two bye-election on July 2,” Mr Singamoana said.
He congratulated the two gentlemen for their interest in contesting the bye-elections.
“I would like to advise voters to vote for a leader who has a vision and heart to serve his people and not a leader who has other interests.”
