ISABEL has recorded two deaths this week that were related to the diarrhoea outbreak.
Two children died Wednesday at clinics around provincial capital Buala.
A senior nurse at Buala Hospital Ambrose Kikolo confirmed this tot eh Solomon Star yesterday.
He said the two children were affected by diarrhoea.
Mr Kikolo said other patients brought to the hospital are recovering well.
He added nurses and doctors are now visiting communities to raise public awareness and urge people to be cautious.
“Awareness are centred on food, drinking water, and simple hygiene,” Mr Kikolo said.
He appealed to nurses service at clinics to quickly refer serious diarrhoea cases to Buala hospital.
