THE Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) Just Play National U-14 Championship successfully kicked off at the DC Park, Henderson, Monday.
Round two of the group stage has been completed for both the boys and girls category.
Provincial teams Malaita Myzolema, Isabel Frigates, Makira Ulawa, and Guadalcanal hornets made impressive starts to their campaign with wins in the first and second round and will be looking to continue their positive start in the remaining group matches.
Known for breeding young talents, Marist FC and Henderson Eels also won their opening matches and both teams will be aiming to stamp their dominance in the competition.
Malaita Myzomela, Isabel Frigates, Western Tomoko, and Honiara Owls have registered wins in their opening matches for the girl’s category.
Matches will continue, Tuesday.
The tournament is set to run from Monday 28th September to Saturday 3rd October 2020 at DC Park and finals to be held at Lawson Tama.
