Solomon Islands Sports Coalition (SISC) calls on interested U14 players recently participated in the Bulk Shop Futsal League to attend trial matches at the SMI court 2pm today.
SISC official Michael Bate’e told Star Sports that the trial matches was to identify U12 and U14 payers to participate in the Australian State Championship next year.
Bate’e said from the success of the Bulk Shop Futsal League the major sponsor Bulk Shop have given a green light to send two teams an U12 and U14 to participate in the Australian championship.
“We are calling on interested U14 players to attend the trial matches and show their potentials to be in the team, “he said.
Bate’e said the trial will kick off at 2pm and interested players must arrive in time.
He said after the first trail a training squad will be selected which later will be trim to 15 man training squad.
Bate’e explained that SICS have proposed to send one team because of insufficient funds but they were lucky to send two teams through the continuous support of Bulk Shop group of company and its associated sponsors.
He acknowledged Bulk Shop for their continuous support towards developing futsal in the country.
Meanwhile Bate’e also called on the U12 15 man training squad to make their way to the SMI today to kick of their first training session.
