UNITED Kwara’ae for Change (UK4C) Association Easter 7s soccer tournaments is scheduled to kick off from 27-31 this month.
This event will be played at Gwaunaoa playing ground in ward 3 of West Kwara’ae electorate, a press release from the UK4C executive confirmed this.
“The United Kwara’ae for Change Executive wishes to inform all football clubs and teams in the West Kwara’ae that the UK4C Easter 7s soccer knockout is scheduled for 27th-31st March and 5th April.
Attractive prizes are up for grabs.
The prizes are as follows:
1st Prize – $2500 and trophy, 2nd Prize – $ 2000, 3rd Prize – $1000 and 4th Prize – $800.
Consolation prizes:
The golden boot – $200 and trophy, golden hand/glove $200 and trophy, player of the tournament – $200 and trophy and fairest team $200 and trophy.
The registration fee is $150.
The UK4C requests all interested football clubs in West Kwara’ae to prepare for the upcoming tournament.
“We are requesting all teams to prepare well ahead of this tournament and should any team/club now wish to register can now do so before 27 March,” the statement said.
It was also stated that UK4C will be hosting awareness talks during the tournament.
