Futsal teams from around the Island of Ulawa in Makira Ulawa Province have described the recently held festive season futsal tournament as the worst organized ever.
Organizers were blamed for giving certain teams the advantage of playing their matches in the evening when there was no too much heat from the sun.
Teams also revealed they were not even given the chance to see for themselves the fixtures of the competition.
They say such attitude does not help sports especially futsal on the island but rather destroy it in its early stages of development.
The complaints were also the same for netball competition.
These complaints have prompt teams to call to form a sporting body which will look after such competition and make sure there is no more biasness.
They say the next festive season’s competition organizers should also involve representatives from each club around the island.
