Former Telekom S-league champions, Western United FC are aiming to bag this TSL championship title after failing to do so in the fifth TSL season last year.
Team coach, Commins Menapi told Star Sports the team is focused for the championship but stressed it will not come easy.
“We are really focused now and are more determined to snatch this competition’s title.
“We failed to regain the TSL title so we switched focus and we are up for the next one,” he said.
With the combination of Henry Fa’arodo Junior set to lead the United pack, United will sure be a threat for the other clubs.
Fa’arodo signed up with United later in the second round of the TSL competition but could not catch up with Solomon Warriors who were way up in points finishing off with an undefeated run.
Menapi believes having Fa’arodo from the start of a competition will put things right for United.
“Yes Fa’arodo will be with the team.
“His presence is a boost to the club’s preparations and more surely the club’s performance in the coming championship,” he said.
However Menapi admitted it will not be an easy task to take out the title.
“All teams will come prepared and it will be tough,” he said.
